The PBX Vega Gateway Module can help to upgrade firmware to one or more Vega gateways simultaneously.
Firmware Upgrade
The PBX Vega Gateway Module can perform the "Firmware upgrade" process from "Network scan" or from the "Dashboard".
Firmware Upgrade from Network Scan
Discovered Vega gateways listing page has option to perform the "Upgrade Firmware".
Firmware upgrade will require Vega gateway to reboot immediately. This process can take couple of minutes to finish.
After selecting "Upgrade Firmware" step, the PBX Vega Gateway Module will redirect to "Dashboard".
The PBX Vega Gateway Module main landing page or dashboard can be refresh to know the Vega status and latest Vega firmware details to confirm firmware upgrade result.
Firmware Upgrade from Dashboard
The PBX Vega Gateway Module main landing page or Dashboard has an option to perform "Firmware Upgrade".
When selecting this options the PBX Vega Gateway Module will redirect to Firmware upgrade section where all the configured Vega gateways will be displayed.
From here we can select Vega gateways and select "Upgrade Firmware" to start firmware upgrade process.
Firmware Management
We can store multiple firmware versions into the PBX Vega Gateway Module. This will make sure we can have different firmware for vega gateways to apply.
"Firmware Management" functionality can be selected only from "Vega Firmware Upgrade" page. (as described in above screenshot).
"Firmware Management" will provide:
Options to upload new firmware manually
Options to delete existing firmwares present in the PBX Vega Gateway Module.
FreePBX Vega module during install will automatically fetch the current available Vega firmware from Sangoma server.
