Phones - How do I get my contacts to show on my D70 phone side panel? (v.6.X)

The Contacts must be setup in the Rapid Dial Favorites tab on the user extension login. This new tab lets you assign contacts to your Digium Phone Rapid Dial Keys or your Switchvox Softphone Favorites tab.

Items in this list can include:

• Switchvox extensions

• External Contacts (your own, or admin maintained list)

• Status Indicators (Queue-Agent Login, or Parking Space)

1. Login to the extension page; type in <server_ip>/main on your browser address bar.

2. Select Features > Phone Features > Rapid Dial Favorites.

3. Click Add Contacts.

4. Select an extension from the Contacts List on left side and click the right arrow key to add it to your Rapid Dial Entries list on the right.

5. Scroll down and click Submit.

To add a Status Indicator, click on Add Status Indicator button and select:

1. Click on Agent Login 

• NOTE: This is a Rapid Dial Key for your Digium phone to indicate your Queue Status. It lights green when you are logged into the related queue, and red when you are logged out. You can log in and out of the queue by pressing the Rapid Dial Key.

2. Enter the Agent Login Extension that you use to log into this queue, and the queue that you want to use (or click on the magnifying glass icon to see a list).

3. You can also add a Parking Space Indicator to your Rapid Dial Keys

• NOTE: This lights up the line status indicator on your phone when a caller is waiting in the specified Parking Lot Extension. You must specify a single parking lot extension for each Rapid Dial Key.

Digium Phone Options button:

1. Enable Line Keys for Rapid Dial: This moves the first Rapid Dial Favorite in your list, onto your first unused Line Key on your phone. If you have a D70 any available line keys will show the first entries in your Rapid Dial Favorites list. Click on the button to change it from No to Yes

2. Blind Transfer Rapid Dial: This key will transfer the call immediately when you press a Rapid Dial Key.

3. Number of Rapid Dial Subscriptions: This will set the number of Rapid Dial Keys that will show up on the phone's side panel or list for newer phones. You can scroll through the pages using the buttons on the phone, below the list.
