Sangoma P370 User Guide

Overview

This guide will show you how to use the features of your Sangoma P370 desktop telephone.

The P370 includes Bluetooth connectivity for headsets and Wi-Fi network connectivity.

This phone can be powered using Power Over Ethernet (PoE). When operating over Wi-Fi or a non-PoE Ethernet connection, the appropriate Sangoma DC power supply is required.

Phone Buttons

Headset - Select the Headset button to start or answer a call using a headset. While on a call using the Headset, select the Headset button to end the call. While on a call and not using the headset, press the Headset button to switch to the headset.

Speaker - Select the Speaker button to start or answer a call using the speaker. While on a call using the speaker, press the Speaker button to end the call. While on a call and not on speaker, press the Speaker button to move the audio to the speaker.

Volume Up and Down - Select the Volume Up or Down buttons to Raise or Lower the call volume. The ring volume will be adjusted if the phone is not on a call or is ringing.

Mute - Select the Mute button to mute or unmute the call.

Phone Application Buttons

Note: The available and displayed application buttons may vary based on the configuration. If there are more than 5 applications available, the More button will be displayed. Press the More button to display all available applications.

 

Call Log - Press the Call Log button to display the phone’s call log.

Voicemail - Press the Voicemail button to access the Voicemail application.

Contacts - Press the Contacts button to display the contacts list.

Favorites - Press the Favorites button to display the list of favorites.

Parked Calls - Press the Parked Calls button to display the parked calls.

More - Press the More button to display the Applications screen
Note: The More button is only available when over 5 applications are configured for the current primary account.

Home - Press the Home button to return to the home page or refresh the list of notifications.

Dial Pad/Keypad - Press the Dial Pad button to display the dialing buttons. While on a call the dial pad will be contained within the call card for the active call.

Placing a Call

Pick up the handset or press the Dial Pad icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to display the phone Dial Pad, then enter a number and press the Dial button.

Note: If you press the Dial button without entering a number, the last number dialed will be displayed. Press Dial again to begin a call to that number.

Using Contacts

  • Press the Contacts icon to launch the Contacts application.

  • Search for the desired contact. The list can be scrolled, or the Search feature can be accessed by pressing the Search (Magnifying Glass) icon in the application header bar. The list of contacts is sorted by first name or last name, depending on configuration.

  • Press the Number button to dial the contact.

How to display the Contact’s Details

From the Contacts list, select the contact to open the contact’s details.

Receiving a Call

  • Press the Answer button to answer the call.

  • Press the Ignore button to ignore the call.

  • Press the Send to VM button to send the call to voice mail.

  • Press the Transfer button to transfer the call to another number.

Active Calls

Note: If a button is not selectable, the phone system may not be configured to support that option.

  • Hold - Press the Hold button to place the call on hold.

  • Conference - Press the Conference button to create a conference call.

  • Transfer - Press the Transfer button to transfer the call to a different number..

  • Park - Press the Park button to park the call.

  • Record - Press the Record button to start recording the call.

  • Keypad - Press the Keypad button to display the keypad/dial pad

  • End - Press the End button to end the call.

Conference Calls

During a call, press the Conference button. Dial the third participant's number or use the Contact list. Press the Complete button to connect all participants. To split a conference into separate calls with each participant, press the Split button and select the participant to split from the call.

Recent Call

Recent missed calls will be displayed in order of newest to oldest. A missed call can be removed from the recent call list by simply sliding the call to the left.

The number of missed calls is displayed next to the missed call indicator.

To return a call, press the call icon on the right side of the desired missed call.

If the recent call includes a voicemail, the voicemail icon will appear. To listen to a voicemail, press the voicemail icon on the right side of the desired call.

Parked Calls

Parked calls can be picked up from any phone within the system.

  • To Park a call, during a call, press the Park button.

  • To pick up a Park call, press the Parked Calls icon and select the desired parked call.

Using the Call Log

To access the Call Log, press the Call Log icon on the home screen.

  • The Call Log can be filtered by All, Missed, Dialed, or Received calls.

  • Press the desired Call Log entry to display more details about a call.

  • Press the Green button to call a person in the call.

Voicemail

If there are unattended voicemails:

  • The Message Waiting Indicator light will be flashing at the top of the phone.

  • The Voicemail button at the bottom of the screen will indicate the number of un-attended voicemails.

  • Press the Voicemail button to dial your voicemail extension or to load the Visual Voicemail app.

    • Select a voicemail to display the following options:

      • ► - Listen to the voicemail.

      • Move - Move the voicemail from the inbox to a different folder.

      • Forward - Forward the voicemail to a different extension.

      • Read - Mark it as read.

      • Call Back - Return the call.

      • Delete - Delete the voicemail.

Transfer a Call

  • Attended Transfer: During a call, press the Transfer button, and the current call will be put on hold.

    • Using the Dial Pad - Press the Dial Pad icon and enter a number then press the Dial button. After someone answers, inform them of the call to be transferred. Press the Complete button, and the transfer will be completed.

    • Using Contacts - Press the Home button, then the Contacts button, find the desired contact, and press the Green number button to dial the contact. After someone answers, inform them of the call to be transferred. Press the Complete button, and the transfer will be completed.

    • Using Favorites - Press the Home button, then the Favorites button, and find and select the desired favorite. After someone answers, inform them of the call to be transferred. Press the Complete button, and the transfer will be completed.

  • Unassisted/Blind Transfer: During a call, follow the attended transfer step above, but after dialing the destination number, press the Complete Transfer button.

How to access all available Phone Apps

The phone screen displays up to 5 applications. To display all the Apps from the home screen, press the More ( ) icon to the right of the apps.

Phone Details and Setting

To access the phone setting, click the Menu ( ☰ ) icon at the top of the page or slide the screen from left to right. The following phone info and settings are available.

  • Call Answer Settings:

    • Adjust the Answer Settings.

  • Display Settings:

    • Adjust the Brightness.

    • Turn on or off the Displaying Dimming.

    • Adjust the Dimming Level.

    • Adjust the Dimmer Timer.

    • Turn on or off the Display Missed Call.

  • Sound Setting - The following settings are available from the Sound Setting:

    • Change the Ring Tone.

    • Adjust the Ringer Volume.

    • Adjust the Speaker Volume.

    • Adjust the Handset Volume.

    • Adjust the Headset Volume.

    • Turn on or off the Call Waiting Tone.

  • The phone details are displayed at the bottom.

  • Select the Advanced option:

    • Reconfigure

    • Reset to Factory defaults

    • Restart the phone

Account Details

Press on the Extension Name at the top of the screen to display a list of Extensions assigned to the user’s account.

Press and hold the Extension Name at the top of the screen to display the Account information.

Press on Missed Calls will display the Call Log

Press on Voice INBOX to display to go to Voicemail.

Press on the Status to update your status/presence.

How to Change My Status

Option 1 - Press the Status icon at the top right corner of the screen and then select a status,

Option 2 - Press and hold the Extension Name at the top of the screen. From the Account Details screen, Press the Status row and then select a status.
