Overview
This guide will show you how to use the features of your Sangoma P370 desktop telephone.
The P370 includes Bluetooth connectivity for headsets and Wi-Fi network connectivity.
This phone can be powered using Power Over Ethernet (PoE). When operating over Wi-Fi or a non-PoE Ethernet connection, the appropriate Sangoma DC power supply is required.
Phone Buttons
Headset - Select the Headset button to start or answer a call using a headset. While on a call using the Headset, select the Headset button to end the call. While on a call and not using the headset, press the Headset button to switch to the headset. | |
Speaker - Select the Speaker button to start or answer a call using the speaker. While on a call using the speaker, press the Speaker button to end the call. While on a call and not on speaker, press the Speaker button to move the audio to the speaker. | |
Volume Up and Down - Select the Volume Up or Down buttons to Raise or Lower the call volume. The ring volume will be adjusted if the phone is not on a call or is ringing. | |
Mute - Select the Mute button to mute or unmute the call. |
Phone Application Buttons
Note: The available and displayed application buttons may vary based on the configuration. If there are more than 5 applications available, the More button will be displayed. Press the More
button to display all available applications.
| Call Log - Press the Call Log button to display the phone’s call log. |
| Voicemail - Press the Voicemail button to access the Voicemail application. |
| Contacts - Press the Contacts button to display the contacts list. |
| Favorites - Press the Favorites button to display the list of favorites. |
| Parked Calls - Press the Parked Calls button to display the parked calls. |
| More - Press the More button to display the Applications screen |
| Home - Press the Home button to return to the home page or refresh the list of notifications. |
Dial Pad/Keypad - Press the Dial Pad button to display the dialing buttons. While on a call the dial pad will be contained within the call card for the active call. |
Placing a Call
Pick up the handset or press the Dial Pad icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to display the phone Dial Pad, then enter a number and press the Dial button.
Note: If you press the Dial button without entering a number, the last number dialed will be displayed. Press Dial again to begin a call to that number.
Using Contacts
Press the Contacts
icon to launch the Contacts application.
Search for the desired contact. The list can be scrolled, or the Search feature can be accessed by pressing the Search (Magnifying Glass) icon in the application header bar. The list of contacts is sorted by first name or last name, depending on configuration.
Press the Number button to dial the contact.
How to display the Contact’s Details
From the Contacts list, select the contact to open the contact’s details.
Receiving a Call
Press the Answer button to answer the call.
Press the Ignore button to ignore the call.
Press the Send to VM button to send the call to voice mail.
Press the Transfer button to transfer the call to another number.
Active Calls
Note: If a button is not selectable, the phone system may not be configured to support that option.
Hold - Press the Hold button to place the call on hold.
Conference - Press the Conference button to create a conference call.
Transfer - Press the Transfer button to transfer the call to a different number..
Park - Press the Park button to park the call.
Record - Press the Record button to start recording the call.
Keypad - Press the Keypad button to display the keypad/dial pad
End - Press the End button to end the call.
Conference Calls
During a call, press the Conference button. Dial the third participant's number or use the Contact list. Press the Complete button to connect all participants. To split a conference into separate calls with each participant, press the Split button and select the participant to split from the call.
Recent Call
Recent missed calls will be displayed in order of newest to oldest. A missed call can be removed from the recent call list by simply sliding the call to the left.
① The number of missed calls is displayed next to the missed call indicator.
② To return a call, press the call icon on the right side of the desired missed call.
③ If the recent call includes a voicemail, the voicemail icon will appear. To listen to a voicemail, press the voicemail icon on the right side of the desired call.
Parked Calls
Parked calls can be picked up from any phone within the system.
