SIPStation and FAXStation - Deleting and Restoring Faxes

Deleting a Fax

You can remove any fax from the Inbox, Sent, or Failed folders by moving it to the Deleted folder. This is has a "global" effect. If a user deletes a fax, the fax will show up in the Deleted folder for any users who have access to the associated DID.

Note

At this time, you cannot "empty" the Deleted folder. This feature will become available in a future release.

How to Delete a Fax

Go to the folder where the fax is located (Inbox, Sent, or Failed).

Check the box at the left side of the row to select the fax. You can select more than one fax at a time if desired.

Click the Delete button.

The selected fax(es) will be moved to the Deleted folder.

Restoring Faxes

You can restore a deleted fax back to its original folder. This also has a "global" effect, in that the fax will be moved back to the original folder for everyone who can see it.

How to Restore a Deleted Fax

Click the Deleted folder.

Note that the fax information shows the Folder the fax came from. When you restore a deleted fax, it will move back to that folder.

Check the box at the left side of the row to select the fax. You can select more than one fax at a time if desired.

Click the Restore button.

The selected fax(es) will be moved back to their original folders.
