Overview
The Portal Audit Report provides a quick and efficient way for organizations to track who and what changes were made in the Business Voice Portal in the past 90 days. The report includes the following types of portal changes:
Users (Admin user manager page, add new users via csv import in configuration)
Extensions (extensions page, add/delete/edit)
multi-extension devices (multi-extensions page)
New number request (configuration new number/porting stuff)
E911 (e911 zone configuration)
Incoming call routing ( Advanced scheduler only )
Did manager (configuration did manager)
International dialplan (configuration)
Call recording (configuration)
Location address/billing contact (configuration location info)
The report show which user made the change and whether it was an addition, edit, or deletion. This ensures accountability by identifying who performed each action.
How to access the Business Voice Audit Report
Click HERE to access the Business Voice Portal.
Log in using your Business Voice Credentials.
Select Configuration at the top of the Page.
If you have multiple locations, select the desired location.
From the left side menu, select Other Tools, then select Portal audit report.
How to run the Business Voice Audit Report
Once the report opens,
Enter the report Start Date
(The start date should not exceed 90 days back.)Enter the report End Date.
Click the Get button.
What additional action can be completed
Rerun the report with different dates.
Filter the existing report by;
actions/type/what.
Who made the changes.
Location(s)
Export/Download the report as a CSV file.
What's in the Business Voice Audit Report
This report only includes changes made in the past 90 days.
The business Voice Audit Report includes all of the customer’s locations, but can be filtered down to a specific location if desired. The report contains the following columns:
LOCATION - The location where the activity was logged.
ACTION - What type of action was performed.
TYPE - What type of portal change was made (I.e. Extension, User, etc.)
WHAT - What data was added or updated.
WHO - Who made the change.
WHEN [UTC] - Timestamp the change was. (UTC time).
CHANGE - What kind of change was made. ( In the current state it will only reflect a recording change that was made )
