Features and Changes 

Customer Admins can now unblock IPs without having to contact Digium Support

  • This is handled in the new ‘Blocked IPs’ section of the Switchvox interface, which can be found by navigating to Server / Networking / Blocked IPs.

  • This is a major improvement for Switchvox Cloud customers!

“Converged Phones” are now known as “Additional Phones”

  • When using Digium phones, softphones (via Switchvox Mobile), or external PSTN numbers, the operation for “Additional Phones” is very similar to the “Converged Phones” feature.

  • Additional Phones” in Switchvox Cloud can be configured by the Switchvox admin and does not require contacting Digium Support for configuration assistance.

  • When using 3rd party SIP phones, the operation in Switchvox Cloud is the same as with Switchvox premises systems:

    • 3rd party SIP phones cannot be an "Additional Phone"

    • 3rd party SIP phones require their own license

Digium Phone firmware version 1.5.4 for the D80 and 2.3.6 for other models.
