Business Voice - What LAN switches are compatible with a Business Voice system?

Sangoma’s Business Voice systems can work with verified, managed Ethernet LAN switches that support the following:

•     Virtual Local Area Networks 802.1Q (VLAN)

•     Layer 2 Quality Of Service 802.1p (QOS)

•     Power Over Ethernet 802.3af (POE)

Managed switches with no POE support may compatible with the Business Voice system, however each IP phone will need a power supply. Sangoma supplied switches are pre-configured for the proper settings and are covered by maintenance. If a customer chooses to use their own network switch, or a reseller-provided switch, it is the reseller's responsibility to provide or coordinate configuration and ongoing maintenance of the LAN infrastructure. Sangoma’s Professional Services can be engaged on an hourly basis to provide network implementation services in some circumstances. Sangoma Support does not provide configuration or maintenance services for third-party switches.
