Support Services - Why do I get a Connection Refused error when trying to access the Admin or Web portal and how do I resolve this issue?

Note: This is usually caused by the Switchvox's self generated SSL Certificate expiring.Follow the steps below to regain access to the system.

  1. Attach a keyboard and monitor to your Switchvox server.

  2. Press any key on the keyboard to view the Switchvox console. If the console does not display on the monitor, you may need to restart the Switchvox so the BIOS can recognize the keyboard.

  3. You will see a screen that says,"You can now administer your PBX at : https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/admin". Press the Enter key to select More Options on the screen.

  4. Once in the extra options screen, select Reset HTTPS Certificate and hit the Enter key. This will reset the HTTPS certificate.

  5. Then choose Restore Web Admin Access from the extra options menu and press Enter.

  6. Now access should be restored and you will be able to log into the Admin and Web Portal.
