Support Services - My phone is connected to Switchvox by VPN, why am I having audio problems?
If a phone connected over a VPN has audio problems, and NAT Port Forwarding is turned On, you may need to add that phone's network to the Additional Local Networks.
Go to Server>Networking>IP Configuration > Advanced Options > Additional Local Networks
Enter the remote phone's network address in Additional Local Networks field, click on the green plus sign.
Click on Save IP Configuration.
Adding IP ranges to the Additional Local Networks will create a phone network to map that range to the local host. Please review your Phone Networks to ensure this doesn't conflict with any known working phones on similar IP ranges.
IMPORTANT: Saving changes will drop all calls and restart the software! It is best to do this outside of business hours.
