Support Services - Incoming calls fail when calling an extension that is registered to a Zoiper softphone.
If you have registered a Zoiper softphone to a Switchvox extension and you cannot receive incoming calls then you will need to check the audio codec settings in you softphone settings and you Switchvox extension.
First you will need to open the Zoiper softphone application on your computer.
Next you will need to click on the option called "Audio Codecs".
Use your mouse to move all the codecs from the "Available Codecs" box to the "Selected Codecs" box.
Click on the "Apply" button at the bottom of the screen to save these changes.
Next, you will need to log into the Switchvox as an administrator. Navigate to Setup-Manage and find the extension that the Zoiper softphone is registered to.
Click the yellow pencil icon to modify the extension, then click the Phone Settings tab.
You will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Advanced Phone Options. Make sure all of the codecs are enabled, the icon should show a red circle with a horizontal white line through it for every codec. If the codec icon is a green check mark then the codec is disabled and you will need to click the icon to enable it.
Scroll to the top of the page and select the Other Manufacturer's tab. Scroll down and click Advanced Phone Options and make sure ULAW, ALAW, and G722 are on.
Click the blue Save SIP Extension button at the bottom of the page. You should now be able to receive incoming calls.
