Support Services - How To Access The Console Menu for Maintenance

On a Switchvox appliance, in order to do certain maintenance and troubleshooting, or when you are unable to connect to the Admin Web GUI, you may need to access the Console Menu. 

First, attach a VGA monitor and a USB keyboard to the back of the Switchvox server.
Press any key on the keyboard to access the Switchvox console.
When the console appears, press any key on More Options and you will see the following menu:

  1. Configure Network Settings

  2. Set Admin Password

  3. Reboot the PBX

  4. Shutdown the PBX

  5. Reset HTTPS certificate

  6. Restore Web Admin Access

  7. Set Language

  8. Allow Tech Support Access

  9. Unblock Local IPs

NOTE: Use Down-Up Arrow keys to select the menu option and click on Submit. You do not need to use a mouse, this is a text-based menu.
