Support Services - How to resolve Switchvox softphone audio issues when using Cyberoam Firewall
By default, Cyberoam firewall has a SIP Helper enabled, which has been known to cause audio issues when placing and receiving calls with the Switchvox softphone IPhone and Android Application. To resolve this issue, you will need to disable the SIP Helper on the Cyberoam Firewall, which can be done by following the instructions below.
The administrator can disable the SIP module by following the steps mentioned below: Logon to the CLI console and select option 4. Cyberoam Console from the Main Menu list.
Execute the following command: console>cyberoam system_modules sip unload
This can be re-enabled again using the "cyberoam system_modules sip load" command
