Support Services - Why do transfers using rapid dial keys not display original caller id information to transferred extension

When using a Rapid Dial Key to transfer a caller, it will perform an Assisted Transfer unless you have the Blind Transfer Rapid Dial setting enabled.

To enable Blind Transfer Rapid Dial

  1. Click Setup-> Manage

  2. Find the extension you are working with and login to the user extension portal

  3. Click Features -> Phone Features

  4. Click the Rapid Dial Favorites tab.

  5. Click Digium Phone Options button.

  6. Move the Blind Transfer Rapid Dial slider to YES.

  7. Click Save.
