Support Services - What level of technical assistance does Sangoma provide for Sangoma phones

Sangoma provides technical assistance for customers' use of Sangoma phones. The level of assistance depends on the phone's environment. Sangoma Tech Support will troubleshoot issues with parts of the topology and architecture that are within Sangoma's control.

Genuine Asterisk

For Sangoma phones used with the current LTS release or Standard release of genuine Asterisk, Sangoma will support all methods of phone configuration:

However, configuration via DPMA will receive the highest level of support. DPMA is available for Certified Asterisk release series. For more information about current LTS and Standard releases of Asterisk, please see the Asterisk Versions wiki page.

Third-party Asterisk Environments

For third-party Asterisk environments such as Elastix, Thirdlane PBX, etc., Sangoma will attempt to provide advice and troubleshooting, but we will not guarantee that the combination of the environment and the phone can be made to work as the customer wants, because Sangoma has not done official testing with, nor does Sangoma control changes to, those environments.

Non-Asterisk Environments

Similarly, for non-Asterisk PBXes and non-Asterisk unified communication systems, Sangoma will provide advice, but will not guarantee that it can be made to work as the customer wants, for the same reasons as for third-party Asterisk environments.
