Overview
This guide outlines the administrator setup for the embedded Sangoma Phone integration within Microsoft Teams.

Note: Users may need to reload, close, or restart Microsoft Teams for the new app to appear.
Prerequisites
Before deployment, ensure the following:
Switchvox must have an SSL certificate from a trusted authority. See HTTPS and SSL Certificates - 3rd Party Certificate Authority.
Access to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center
The Sangoma Phone Teams file
Appropriate admin permissions to upload and manage Teams apps
Switchvox Users (SIP Phone extensions) who will use the app have a Email Address for Login that matches the email address they use to log into Teams:
NOTE: a password is not necessary in this scenario. MS Teams passes this email address to the embedded Sangoma Phone app, and if it matches then a password is not necessary.
Admin Deployment Steps
Log In
Access the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
Sign in with your admin credentials.
Navigate to Manage Apps
Expand Teams apps.
Click on Manage apps.
Download the Sangoma Phone for MS Teams file
Download the Sangoma Phone Teams file to your local device.
Upload the Sangoma Phone Teams App to Microsoft Teams
In the top right, click Actions and then select + Upload new app.
Upload the file that was downloaded in the prior step.
Locate the App
Once the upload completes, click the link to manage the app,
or search for Sangoma Phone in the Manage apps section.
Configure Permissions
Open the app configuration.
Go to the Permissions tab.
Select Grant admin consent.
In the Grant admin consent window, review the requested permissions and click Accept.
Once permissions are granted, the admin should be able to view the same in the permission tab
Now the end users can add the embedded Sangoma Phone App to their Microsoft Teams instance.
