Switchvox - How to set the correct time on Sangoma phones located on different areas
Network Time Protocol (NTP) is a networking protocol for clock synchronization. This sets the time on your Sangoma phones.
If you have a Sangoma phone that needs to have a different time than the phones located at your main office (where the Switchvox is located), you can either set a different NTP server for your phone in the phone networks tab or alter the localization settings on the phone.
To alter the NTP server through the phone networks tab:
Navigate to Server > Networking > Phone networks
Locate the network you want to affect and Modify
Next to NTP Server enter a corrected NTP server for your timezone
Alternately from a D-Series phone press Menu > Preferences > Localization Settings > Change Time Zone
Note: This only works for Sangoma phones
