Switchvox - How To Set Permissions to Record Calls in Switchvox

Navigate to Setup>Permissions in the Admin portal of Switchvox

Once at the Extension Permissions page, click on Create Extension Permission Mapping.

Under Permission Holders there will be 2 option types:  Extension Groups or Extensions(we will use extension option).

Click on Extensions under permission....This will be the permissions holder.

To the right of the search box there will be a magnifying glass icon. Click it and choose the extension that you wish to have the permissions to record others calls.  Click Add in the lower left corner.

Under Permission Target, choose Extensions. These will be the extensions that the permission holder can record.

Click add.

Beneath the 2 windows you will see 5 options which are the permissions that the permission holder can be granted.

Enable the option for:  "Permission holders can record target's calls by moving the slider to the left for "yes."

Save Extension Permission Mapping
