Switchvox - How to upgrade switchvox to 10 digit local dialing from 7 digit
If you have altered your Local outgoing call rule to use 10 digits you will also need to update your phones dial plan so that you will be able to place the call successfully off-hook.
Go to Setup > Outgoing Calls
Modify the 'local' outgoing call rule and make sure the rule looks like this:
Begins with '9' and the remainder is '10' to '10' digits in length. Before connecting the call trim '1' digit from the front.
Save Rule
For Digium Phones
Go to Setup > Extension > Manage
Modify Extension
Phone Settings > Digium Phones > Advance Options - See grayed out dial plan
[0-8]xx|911|9411|9611|9011xxx.T3|91xxxxxxxxxx|9[2-9]xxxxxx|*xxx.T3
Set override dialplan to YES and try
This will give you more time:
[0-8]xx|911|9411|9611|9011xxx.T3|91xxxxxxxxxx|9[2-9]xxxxxx.T|*xxx.T3
This will allow 10 digits local dialing:
[0-8]xx|911|9411|9611|9011xxx.T3|91xxxxxxxxxx|9[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|*xxx.T3
Save. Once you verified this is working on one of the Digium phones, you may apply a Bulk Modify for all other Digium Phones.
For phones configured with a Phone Feature Pack
Go to Setup > Phones > Phone Feature Pack
Modify Phone Setup Options
Set Use 10 digit local dialing to YES
