Switchvox - How do I configure a SNOM 300 phone using phone feature packs?

Below are steps to configure your SNOM 300 phone using phone feature packs.

1. Press the navigation down key in order to call up the menu. Use the navigation key up/down to scroll from one menu screen to the next. Use the navigation key left/right to display the available menu items. Confirm with tick key the one displayed menu item.

2. Find the "Configuration" menu, press right arrow key.

3. Select "Reset" to clear all current settings of the phone and restore the default factory settings. A second screen appears, requiring the entry of the administrator password. The default password is 0000. Press tick key to confirm your password and the phone will reboot.

4. In Switchvox /admin GUI, your phone should be seen in the 'Unknown Phones' list under Setup > Phone Feature Packs.

5. Once the phone has completely rebooted and come to a screen that displays "Account:123", check the phone and confirm it to the 'Unconfigured Phones" list.

6. The phone should auto reboot.

7. When the phone comes all the way back to the "Account:123" screen, map the extension you want and check the phone over to the 'Configured Phones' list.

8. The phone should auto reboot.

When the phone comes up again, you will need to input the following:

1. Account=extension you mapped to phone

2. Registrar=IP of PBX

3. Password=phone password (found is Switchvox under Setup > Manage > modify the extension > Phone Settings Tab > Common Settings Tab

4. The phone will then reboot once again and should be registered (Check under Server > Connection Status > SIP Phones)

   NOTE: Use the phone keypad to enter numbers and letters. To change to lower case alphabetic key or back to numeric key entry by pressing the down arrow on the Navigation Key until Dots in the IP address are entered by pressing the 1 key while in alphabetic mode. If you need to delete characters press the up arrow on the Navigation Key
