Switchvox - How do you turn off the sound 'after the tone, say your name and then press the pound key' prompt for all who join conference bridge sessions?

The Meet-Me Conference Bridge extension holds all the conference rooms of each individual extension if they have one set up.
The steps below will turn off the prompt to record your name when you enter the conference room.

  1. In Switchvox /admin GUI, go to Setup > Manage and log into the extension that has the conference room PIN.

  2. Go under Features > Conference Room.

  3. You can either toggle OFF "Play sound when people enter/leave" or you can change the Sound Type to just be a sound only and not the name also.

  4. Save settings and test.
