Voicemail Access Extension
A Voicemail extension goes directly to the voicemail system where extension owners can check their voicemail. This is not an extension to leave a voicemail message, it is strictly for retrieving voicemail. Voicemail extension 899 is preconfigured for you.
Voicemail Access Settings
Extension. Voicemail Access Extension is preconfigured at 899. If you want to use a different extension than 899, first delete the 899 extension, then create a new Voicemail Access extension. For information about the extension-number length, see “Settings."
Require password always. Even when calling from own extension. YES is the default and indicates a password is always required even from your own extension. If you do not want to require a password, as long as the caller is calling from their own extension, select NO.
