Switchvox - Why is the # sign not available in the Switchvox IVR

The buttons available for programming options in an IVR include 0-9 and *.

The # key is not an available button to program in an IVR on Switchvox because the # key is used to terminate certain IVR Actions.

If it was allowed, that would cause a conflict.
