Switchvox - How to troubleshoot Call Recordings not offloading to FTP server
Below are steps to troubleshoot if calls are not offloading to FTP server:
Go to Tools > Call Recording
Confirm that the settings for each Scheduled Call Recording is correct
Check the Scheduled Call Recordings to see how many calls are suppose to save on the PBX between all the Scheduled Call Recordings before offloading and deleting and note the ticket
Check under the Recorded Calls tab and see how many calls the PBX has stored, note that information in the ticket
Monitor the system, wait up to an hour after the end of day and see if the number drops to the number that you calculated when adding up the number of calls the system is suppose to keep between all the call rules
If it isn't offloading calls run the download_file.pl script and select /var/log/switchvox/recording_reaper_log in the VPN tool
If you see: "recording_reaper.pl(3) backup_files_to_ftp_server deleting records from db: DELETE FROM recorded_calls WHERE recorded_call_id IN", this means the calls are being offloaded.
If calls do not appear to be offloading, try changing the amount of calls to save, and change the offload to "Throughout the Day", then go back to step 5 above.
