Switchvox - How do I clear the Error and Advanced Error Logs?
Switchvox Error logs are recorded constantly. Usually they are not useful for end users, but can be helpful to Digium Technical Support or advanced admins. If the logs begin to take up too much space, you may choose to remove them using the following steps.
Go to Server Backups
Create a new backup and keep the PBX Error Logs toggle to OFF
Save backup (this will save a backup to the server without the error logs)
Download the backup off the PBX
You will then need to reinstall the software for the version the backup was taken from. For instructions on re-installing, follow the steps here How to Replace a Switchvox Appliance and Software
After the install process is finished, go to Server > Backups
Click Upload & Restore Backup and choose the backup you just created
When the restore process is finished, you will have your PBX with no error logs or advanced error logs.
NOTE: We always suggest downloading or offloading backups off the PBX so that they are available in case of a crash scenario.
