Switchvox - What do I do when my call blocking rules aren't functioning?

If you set up a call blocking rule under Incoming Call Rules and it doesn't appear to be working you can follow the steps below to resolve:

  1. Navigate to Setup>Call Routing>VOIP Providers

  2. Modify the VOIP Provider

  3. Select the Peer Settings tab

  4. Set Apply Incoming Call Rules to Provider to Yes

  5. Select the Provider Information tab

  6. Set a Callback Extension. This will be a default extension to route calls to if no other incoming call rules apply

  7. Save the VOIP Provider
