How Do I resolve MWI (message-waiting-indicator) delay?

If you are experiencing delayed MWI light then follow the steps in this article.

  1. Log into the Switchvox administrator portal.

  2. Navigate to Server-Phone Networks.

  3. Check to make sure that the Alt Host Address for each network is not set the same as the Host Address.

  4. If it is, then click Modify and delete the Alt Host Address for each Phone Network that has a duplicate IP address.

  5. Re-save the Phone Networks and the issue should be resolved.
