Switchvox - How to setup e911 outgoing call rule

Login as an administrator to the Switchvox:

  1. Go to Setup -> Call Routing -> Outgoing calls.

  2. Click on Create Outgoing Call Rule

    1. Rule Name: 911

    2. Number begins with the digits: 911

    3. The rest of the number must be between 0 and 0 digits in length.

    4. Before connecting the call, trim 0 digits from the front, and then prepend the digits BLANK to the number

    5. Primary Call Through Provider: Select the provider

    6. Is this rule final? Yes

    7. Allow all existing extensions to use this rule?

      1. Enable above option to use this rule for all extensions

      2. Disable above option not to use for all extensions.

    8. Save Outgoing Call Rule

  3. Under Outgoing Caller ID rules:        

Create Single Rule to display correct caller ID number when All extensions are making outgoing call through rule 911
