Switchvox - Why are all internal calls placed from my Analog extension resulting in a fast busy dial tone.
Check to make sure the Channel that the Analog extension is using is not in alarm status by navigating to Server-Connection Status-Hardware Devices tab.
If the channel is up, with no alarm, then proceed to step 3. If the channel is in alarm, you will need to investigate the problem and fix the channel alarm before you continue. Refer to this guide for troubleshooting analog card problems. Analog Basics
Navigate to Setup-Channel Groups and click Modify for the channel group that the Analog extension is using.
In the Modify Channel Group settings, select the Hide Advanced Group Options tab and choose Show Advanced Group Options.
Scroll down under the Advanced Group Options and set Relax DTMF Recognition to Yes.
Click the blue Save Channel Group button at the bottom of the page to save the settings. This will drop any current calls on the system.
Make a test call from the same analog phone to another internal extension, the issue should be resolved.
If the issue is not resolved, then you will need to troubleshoot further to determine the cause of the Internal dialing issue.
