Switchvox - How Do I Avoid Incoming Calls From Interrupting Voicemail Message Playback?

When a call comes in, my Visual Voice mail will close if I are listening to a message. Is there any way to prevent this?

There are three possible options for this situation to choose from: 

1. Dial the voicemail access extension 899 instead of using the voicemail button, or dial your own extension number and press * during the greeting.

2. Go to Setup > Extensions:Manage > click on the Modify pencil icon for your extension, then click on Phone Settings tab > scroll down to Msgs Button > click on Msgs Button Action and select the setting to Dial Voicemail Extension instead. That will allow you to listen to a message and prevent another incoming call from interrupting. 

3. Change the Status on the phone and put in DND (Do Not Disturb) status. Verify there is a call rule on the extension that all declines calls when in DND status. Login to your extension and go to Features > Call Rules. Create Call Rule Set for Status: Any Do Not Disturb, (if there is not one already existing) Create Action > Decline > Type of call: All Calls > select Immediately and None. This will decline all calls immediately so you are not interrupted while listening to messages.
