Why does the internal directory spell a name?

The internal directory pulls from a Users Voicemail Greetings in order to populate correct names.

In the event that you have not yet recorded your Full Name greeting the system will spell out the users name.

To record a full name greeting:

  1. Log in as the desired user.

  2. Go to Voicemail/Fax > Voicemail Options

  3. Choose Create Recording

  4. From here you can choose to upload a .wav file or record the name over a desired extension.
