Switchvox - My caller ID is prepending zeroes, how to I change that?
Setup a Caller ID with 10 digits: Go to Setup > Routing: Outgoing Calls > Caller ID Rules.
Create a Single Rule or a Ranged Rule > change caller id number field to a 10-digit number.
Save Caller ID Rule.
When an outgoing call is processed, part of the logic is to determine what the valid Caller ID is. If there are noCaller ID Rulesfor the dialing extension, or for the Provider, default data is used. In cases where there are too few digits in the default Caller ID, 0s are automatically prepended.
