Switchvox - How to resolve error message "Client died with status Cannot resolve"

If you receive an error similar to the one below when attempting to update or create a queue, it indicates there is a problem with the hostname attached to your Switchvox:

In order to resolve this follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Server -> Networking -> IP Configuration

  2. Select Advanced Options

  3. Change the Hostname field to be a DNS resolvable hostname on your network

  4. Select Save IP Configuration

Note: If you do not use a hostname on your system, you can change this to the system default which is "pbx" without quotation marks.
