Switchvox - Why are voicemail messages are not showing up on an extension after leaving a voicemail message?

Go to Tools > Notifications: SMTP Settings, Server Settings, Email "From" Address field. 
Set the Email “From” Address to: PBX@localhost.localdomain (this is the default). Clear and entries in the other fields: Outbound SMTP Server, Outbound SMTP Username, and Outbound SMTP Password.

If the problem persists, set the Hostname (under Server > IP Configuration > Advanced Options to localhost.localdomain).

NOTE: Saving this page will drop all calls and restart the software, so proceed with caution!

 

Technical Support Note:
The voicemail_log file will show an error (run script file download_file.pl, select /var/log/switchvox/voicemail_log):
... Caught error during store_and_mail: ( Invalid %1. Email address must contain an @ sign. ).
