Switchvox - How do I register an Incom ICW-1000 wireless phone to my Switchvox server?
As an administrator, create a SIP extension under Setup-Extensions-Manage.
In the extension, go to Phone Settings-Common Settings and set the Phone Registration Password.
Set any other settings in the extension you would like and then click Save SIP Extension at the bottom of the page.
Power on your Incom phone and refer to your Incom manual to connect the phone to a wireless access point.
To register the phone to the server go to Admin Menu-Enter Password-VoIP Setting in the phone menu. The default admin password is 000000.
Selet option 2 VoIP Setting in the phone settings.
Create a name and enter it into the Display Name field.
The User Name must be the SIP extension number that the phone will be registered to in the Switchvox system.
Set the SIP extension number for the Auth. User Name also.
Enter the Phone Registration Password that you made in Step 2 of this article in the Auth. Password field.
Leave the Domain blank.
Enter the IP address of the Switchvox server in the 1st Proxy field.
Leave all the other settings blank and save the settings. The phone should state that it is registered.
You can check the status in Switchvox under Server-Connection Status-Sip Phones. The phone should show registered.
