Switchvox - How do I have callers complete a call quality survey after the call?

If you want callers to fill our a survey for call quality after the call is finished, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Tools > IVR Editor and create a new IVR

  2. Name the IVR whatever you want (such as Call Quality Survey)

  3. Create the following actions:

  4. Play Sound (This will be a sound you record that asks a question, such as, "After the tone, please rate your overall calling experience from 1 to 5, 5 being best".  For steps on recording custom sounds go HERE)

  5. Record Digits (Record 1 digit to a new variable)

  6. At this point you can repeat steps 4 and 5 to ask more questions and record the digits to new variables, when you are done with the questions you want to ask, continue with the following actions:

  7. Send an Email (this will send an email to an email address you choose, the body of the email can have the questions listed and the variables/digits the customer chose)

  8. Play Sound - "Thank You"

  9. Hang Up

Next you will want to give your new IVR an extension number:

  1. Go to Setup > Extensions Manage

  2. Create a new extension and choose IVR

  3. Choose an extension number and point it to the IVR you just created

Now when your agents are finished with a call, instead of hanging up, they can blind transfer the caller to the IVR to take the survey.
