Making Music on Hold play in the order set up in the Music on Hold song list
Note, the MOH order will play continuously through when a call is placed on hold. It will not start over from the beginning each time a call is placed on hold
Determine if the files are in the system default file type. (.OGG)
Have the client convert the files to .OGG format if the files are not .OGG format.
To convert an audio file to .OGG
Download a free audio conversion application. Here is a link for a free one http://download.cnet.com/Free-MP3-WMA-OGG-Converter/3000-2140_4-10793572.html
Install the application and convert to .OGG format.
Upload the converted file with the Music on Hold upload Song option.
To upload a Music On Hold Song
Go to Server
Click Music On Hold
Select the folder you want the file in
Click the GO button on the top right corner of the screen.
Click in the text block to add your file.
Select the group that you want the file in
Click upload song
The PBX will now play the files in the correct order.
The reason for this is because Switchvox groups files in play-lists by file type.
