Switchvox - SIP Phones not SIP registering after update to version 6
If after you update to 6.X software and your SIP phones fail to SIP register, this may be due to the localhost address (127.0.0.1) being blocked by the PBX software.
Log into /admin -> Server -> Access Controls -> Blocked IP Addresses tab
Search for 127.0.0.1 -> Unblock if found
If you have Softphone assignments, it is also recommended to delete and re-create the Softphone assignments under /admin -> Setup -> Digium Phones -> Softphones tab
Most likely the localhost address of 127.0.0.1 was blocked by the PBX software prior to the update to 6.X and the new 6.X software uses the losthost address differently in the new software and if this is blocked no phones will work (Digium, Polycom, Snom, etc) until it is unblocked.
Manually registered phones may still be registered but won't be able to place or receive calls until the localhost address is unblocked.
Inversion 6.3.1, the Switchvox software will never blocked 127.0.0.1 again
