How to Connect A SIP Provider as a Peer

This is useful for when the provider does not require authentication and does not provider a Username/Password for the SIP trunk connection. This is set up by going to the Setup tab and selecting VoIP Providers.

  1. Fill out the Provider Information tab as normal. The difference here is that you will still need to fill in the Password field but you can put anything here that you wish, just as long as something fills in the field. 

  2. Next select the Provider Information tab

  3. Navigate to Peer Settings

  4. Change Host Type to Peer

  5. Save the changes
