Updating to Switchvox 6.8

This article describes Switchvox version 6.8 (94920).

This version requires version 6.3.6 (84996). The following is Important information for Switchvox updates:

• Updating to Switchvox 6.6.0.1 has important information about feature changes when you update to 6.6.0.1 or later.

• Updating to Switchvox 6.4 has important information about Digium Phones when you update to 6.4 or later.

Important Update

All Switchvox administrators are encouraged to update to Switchvox 7.6.2 at their earliest convenience. Switchvox 6.x has not been updated since early 2019, and is missing 2 years worth of improvements, as well as security and bug fixes, as described in the Release Notes since that time.

At a minimum, all 6.x customers using D-Series Phones must update to version 6.8 to prevent eventual disruption.

Issue Resolved

• Switchvox 6.8 is identical to 6.7.1.3, but with updated SSL certificate data to address the issue described here.
