Switchvox - Can I Peer Switchvox's On Different Software Versions?
Starting in Switchvox software 5.8 and later, advanced peering was introduced. This method allows Switchvox units to share information between them such as extensions on the other system. For advanced peering to work properly each Switchvox system has to be on the same software version. Meaning if you are on 7.0 on one system you must also be on 7.0 on the other system for them to peer and work properly.
**NOTE: Having a peered Switchvox server on a different software version is unsupported. You will have to make sure they are both on the same software version before we can troubleshoot any issues you may be facing with peers.
