Switchvox Desktop Softphone debug tool

The following guide will provide the steps for the creation of a debug tool for the Desktop Softphone application

Debug tool creation:
Please keep in mind that these instructions are for the Desktop Softphone Application, and not for the web browser version.
We strongly encourage customers to use the app and not the web browser.

How to enable Debugging on Switchvox Desktop Softphone App
⦁    Open the File Explorer.
⦁    Click on the View tab and mark the Hidden Items.
⦁    Right Click on the Windows desktop.
⦁    Click New > Shortcut in the popup menu.

Open

⦁    Click on Browse and look for this path C:\Users\your windows_user_name\AppData\Local\Programs\switchvox-phone   
⦁    Add  “\Switchvox Phone.exe” in the Create Shortcut Browse

Open

⦁    Click Next
⦁    In “Type a name for this shortcut” type “Switchvox Phone - DEBUG” or “Switchvox Phone - DEV”

⦁    Click Finish
⦁    Right-click on the newly created shortcut, and click Properties
⦁    In the “Target” field, go all the way to end and add a space and then type --DEBUG or  --DEV​​​​​​​

⦁    Click OK
⦁    Restart the workstation
⦁    Double-clicking on this new shortcut will launch the app and display the developer console.
