How to create a new Default Template?

If you have are having a problem creating an extension or all of your new extensions are being created with the wrong settings, the problem can be your Default Template. To fix this problem, you can create a new template, try another template or identify and modify the problem template.

Create a New Extension Template

1. Go to Setup > Extensions > Templates

2. Click on Create Extension Template

3. Set Tempate Name and extension settings

4. Save Extension Template

Try another Extension Template

1. Go to Setup > Extensions > Manage

2. Click on Create Extension

3. Set Extension Type to either:

4. Set Template to a known good template or try any other available template

5. Test by creating another extension and see if you are able to create an extension successfully with the correct settings

Identify and Modify Existing Template

1. Go to Setup > Extensions > Templates

2. Check for the problem template by clicking on Modify

3. Check each field, try deleting and re-entering each setting

4. Save Extension Template

5. Test
