Switchvox - How do I fix an "Unable to update your status" error?
If you are seeing an error - "Unable to update your status" when attempting to change your status via your extension log in, do the following:
To confirm the issue:
Go to Setup > Extensions Manage > Log into an extension
Click the small person icon in the upper right corner and try to change the status
If you get the error "Unable to update your status":
Go to Server > IP Configuration > Advanced Options and confirm there is an input for jabber hostname, if not put in: pbx
If there is already a jabber hostname simply resave the page, this will rewrite the jabber hostname to the appropriate folder
Go back and test in the extension log in again.
