Switchvox - Restoring RAID factory settings for Switchvox 3XX
In the event of a suspected RAID issue, the following setup may be used to restore to factory settings:
For AA350/355 units, use the boot-time RAID utility to configure a RAID array. As an example, the following is for creating an array with the Adaptec 2410SA:
When the unit boots, press Ctrl-A when prompted to reach the Adaptec RAID Configuration Utility.
Make sure that the HD1, HD2, and fan LEDs are on (if not, press the corresponding button and reboot before proceeding).
When the menu appears, select Array Configuration Utility and press Enter.
Press I (i, not 1) to initialize the drives.
Press Insert twice to place both drives into the right hand column.
Press Enter to accept the list.
Press Y to initialize the drives.
After initialization, press C to create an array.
Press Insert twice to place both drives into the right hand column.
Press Enter to accept the list
Press down arrow twice to select RAID 1 (mirror) and press Enter to accept.
Type "Switchvox" for the array label and press Enter to accept.
Press tab or enter to navigate to the Write Caching option.
Change Write Caching to Disable and press Enter.
Change Create RAID via to Build/Verify and press Enter.
Press Enter twice on [Done] to create the array.
When the info message pops up, press Enter
Press ESC twice and select Yes and press Enter to exit.
