How to configure a Meet Me Conference

The Meet Me Conference Center allows every user on a system to have their own personal conference room and hold conference calls with many participants easily.

  1. Log into the admin web interface. 

  2. Go to Setup > Extensions > Manage 

  3. Select Create Extension

  4. For Extension Type, select Meet Me Conference Center

  5. Assign an extension number and set the preferred number of invalid room attempts, the default is Unlimited 

The Conference bridge is set up. Next, you will configure your personal conference room on an extension. 

  1. Log into the user web interface for an extension.

  2. Go to Features > Conference Room.

  3. Configure your desired conference Room Number. This is the PIN callers use to join the conference call.

  4. After configuring the desired settings, select Save Conference Settings.

Note: The rest of these settings can be configured as desired, but this is all that is needed for default use. For more information on these settings, please see MAIN FEATURES CONFERENCE ROOM General Settings

In order to use your conference room, you can dial the Meet Me Conference Center extension number and then enter your personal conference room PIN when prompted. Or, to allow external callers to join a conference call, setup anIncoming Call Routeto the MeetMe Conference Room extension number. If you would like to allow incoming calls to be able dial the MeetMe Conference extension from an IVR, you canenable extension dialing in your main IVR.
