How To Remove Call Recordings
Go To Tools -> PBX Features -> Call Recording
Choose the Recording Rule and Click Modify.
Scroll Down To "How Long to Keep Recordings" Section
!!IMPORTANT!!
If you want to backup the recordings before deleting them You MUST setup working FTP information AND Use the "Backup and then Delete calls after" method.
FTP Information can be configured in the Call Recording Settings Section.
If you use "Delete Calls After # of Calls/Megabytes", the files will NOT be recoverable, they will just be deleted.
!!IMPORTANT!!
Depending on whether you want to Backup these recordings, use ONE of the following methods:
I want to backup recordings first
Use "Backup and Then delete calls after # of Calls/Megabytes"
Change the number of calls or the number of megabytes to a number lower than the amount you currently have stored on the PBX.Â
Example: If you have 5,000 calls recorded and want to remove all of them, set this to 1 call.
This will force the pbx to offload all but one call to FTP and then delete them from the PBX.
Example: If you have 70Gigabytes of calls recorded and want to remove most of them, set this to 1 Gigabyte (1024 Megabytes).
This will force the pbx to offload all but 1GB to FTP and then delete them from the PBX.
I do not want to backup my recordings first, Just Delete Them ->
Use "Delete calls after # of Calls/Megabytes"
Change the number of calls or the number of megabytes to a number lower than the amount you currently have stored on the PBX.
This will force the pbx to PERMANENTLY DELETE recordings exceeding this range.

IMPORTANT:If you enter a number into the Delete calls after setting, Switchvox immediately deletes any older recordings to ensure that there are no more than that number of files on disk. If you enter a number into the Backup and then delete calls after setting, Switchvox follows its Offload/Sync Schedule to backup the recordings, then delete them.into the delete KB
