How do I see the details of a queue in Switchboard?
Some users want to be able to see activity in a call queue, to this end we have built the functionality into switchboard. By being able to see how many calls are waiting and how many people are available to take them; user will be able to judge whether they are needed or not in a queue.
Create the queue extension
Add members to the queue extension
Click on the Permissions Tab for the queue extension
Add extensions into the Queue Visibility Section
Choose the type of visibility permission for each member:
My Status - Lets the extension open this queue and see his or her call information for today.
Overview - Lets the extension open this queue and see his or her call information for today, and an overview of all the queue information for today.
Detailed View - Lets the extension open this queue and see his or her call information for today, an overview of all the queue information for today, the members of the queue with their queue-status, and the callers waiting in the queue.
