Switchvox - How Do I Send Admin an email when any voicemail box is over quota

With the voicemail quota tool users are allotted an amount of space on the system for their mailbox. Sometimes users forget to delete voicemails, and will need a reminder. 

  1. Create or Use Pre-existing Queue (Example: Operator_Q 900)

  2. Create New IVR Menu, Name it VMFullNotify, Create IVR Extension for VMFullNotify (Example: 801)  

    1. Create New Action for VMFullNotify, Send An Email

    2. Enter Valid Email for TO ADDRESS.

    3. Enter Valid Email for FROM ADDRESS.

    4. Enter Subject "Voicemail Box Full"

    5. Enter Body:

    6. "Call From %CALLER_ID_NAME% ( %CALLER_ID_NUMBER% ) Could Not Leave Voicemail Because Mailbox Is Over Quota."

    7. Save Action

  3. Create New Action For VMFullNotify, Dial Extension (Operator_Q 900)

  4. Navigate to Tools -> Voicemail

  5. For "If an extension's Mailbox is full, callers are forwarded to

  6. extension" Set to VMFullNotify (801)

  7. (For Testing Only) Set any extensions voicemail quota to 0 and call it.

  8. Check the email address you entered for step 2.

  9. Open Reporting -> Call Logs -> All Calls

  10. Find the call by CallerID FROM value and time of notification.

  11. Click Actions Button to see the extension of the voicemail box that is over quota.

  12. Notify user, Remove Old Voicemails or Increase Quota.
