Release Overview

We are excited to introduce the TeamHub Unified Mobile App for Business Voice and CommUnity users, a major step forward in bringing the full TeamHub experience to mobile.

With this release, voice calling, team chat, and SMS messaging are now available in a single mobile application, eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps. The unified experience aligns with the TeamHub desktop and web clients, so users can move between devices while keeping the same familiar interface and workflows.

Alongside the mobile launch, TeamHub desktop and web clients now feature our new Violet Vision theme, introducing Sangoma’s updated purple branding and a refreshed interface across the platform.

TeamHub Unified Mobile App

Our new unified mobile app expands the capabilities of TeamHub on mobile, allowing users to stay connected with team and customers from one place.

With the unified app, users can:

  • Make and receive business calls

  • Send and receive team and private chat messages

  • Manage SMS conversations with customers

  • Access all communication tools from a single mobile application

By bringing these features together, the unified mobile app simplifies how users manage conversations and collaborate with teams while away from their desk.

The mobile experience is also aligned with the TeamHub desktop and web interface, so the layout and workflows feel familiar whether users are working from their computer or on their phone.

Video meetings support is planned for an upcoming release.

Violet Vision Theme (Desktop and Web)

TeamHub desktop and web clients now feature the new Violet Vision interface theme.

This update introduces:

  • A refreshed interface using Sangoma’s signature purple branding

  • Updated icons and visual elements

  • A cleaner layout designed to make navigation simpler

The updated design provides a more consistent visual experience across mobile, desktop, and web.

Availability

  • TeamHub Web users will automatically receive the most recent version - no additional actions required. Note: if left-side icons don’t display properly, clear your browser’s cache.

  • TeamHub Desktop users will need to go to the top left “hamburger menu” in TeamHub, select “Check for updates” and follow the prompts to install TeamHub shell version 3.8.2-292 for Windows and 3.8.2-11 for Mac users. Once installed, an additional update (version 3.8.2) will be applied to the desktop client, bringing the latest features.

  • TeamHub Unified Mobile App version 3.1.0 for iOS and 3.1.0 is available now on supported mobile platforms in Apple and Google Play stores - see detailed instructions in the table below:

Users participating in the Open Beta Test Program

  1. Open the Apple App Store

  2. Search for TeamHub

  3. Tap Download or Update to install the official version

  4. Sign in with their existing credentials

  5. Optional: users can leave the beta program by deleting the Test Flight version of the app (Test Flight>TeamHub>Stop Testing).

 

For Android users, the beta build converts into the production build automatically.

  1. Open the Google Play Store

  2. Search for TeamHub

  3. Tap Update

  4. Launch the app and sign in if prompted

  5. Optional: users can leave the beta program at the bottom of the Play Store listing.

The unified mobile app is delivered as a standard app update:

  1. Open the App Store

  2. Tap the profile icon

  3. Scroll to Available Updates

  4. Update TeamHub

  5. Launch the app and sign in if prompted.

Users with automatic updates enabled will receive the update automatically.

  3. Find TeamHub

  4. Tap Update

  5. Open the updated app.
