TeamHub V3.4 - CommUnity Release Notes - April 23, 2025

TeamHub V3.4 - CommUnity Release Notes - April 23, 2025

Release Overview

This release delivers a series of enhancements to TeamHub Talk that improve call handling, contact management, and overall reliability across desktop and web platforms. Users will benefit from a more responsive interface, streamlined conferencing tools, and real-time updates to contacts and presence.

In addition, upcoming capabilities for CY users, such as Paging, Intercom, Call Monitoring, and Call Recording, will deliver advanced call supervision and control tools to meet the needs of high-performance teams. These updates are part of our continued investment in delivering a reliable, intuitive, and feature-rich communication experience across devices and platforms.

The CommUnity TeamHub Talk User Guide contains the instructions on how to use these new and updated features.

New Features:

Advanced Call Controls

  • Call Monitoring Tools
Supervisors and managers can now monitor live calls for quality and coaching purposes using:

    • Monitor - Listen in on internal calls without joining.

    • Whisper - Privately speak to an internal user on a call without others hearing.

    • Barge-In - Actively join a live call and speak with all parties.

    • Call Recording Access - Call recording is now available to both agents and managers, improving compliance and enabling better coaching and review workflows.

  • Paging and Intercom
New quick-access buttons are now available to enable instant internal communication:

    • Paging – Broadcast voice messages to groups.

    • Intercom – Start two-way voice communication with internal users.

  • N-Way Calling Now Available in Talk App

CommUnity users in TeamHub can now initiate N-way (multi-call) conversations directly from the Talk app. This new functionality allows users to add multiple participants to an ongoing call - similar to a warm transfer, but without disconnecting the original caller. Users can repeat this process to add more participants as allowed by the underlying telephony platform. During a N-way call, the initiator can choose to either end the entire call or leave the conversation while allowing others to continue. This enhancement improves flexibility and collaboration during live calls:

    • Add contacts step-by-step during a call.

    • Talk to each person privately before merging.

    • Cancel or complete the merge at any time.

    • Repeat to build a larger conference.
